Niblet was also born with drugs in her system, and it wasn't until she was over a year old that she could sleep without being tightly swaddled. She still has issues, but is SO much better than she was.

I highly recommend starting to do some therapeutic yoga with him. This is what made such a big difference for Niblet. We didn't learn about it until we got her OT through Early Intervention, but there's no reason you couldn't do some yourself. Itsy Bitsy Yoga has series for all stages of infant development. Our OT recommended Yoga for the Special Child, too.

Niblet's biggest issue was not having integrated all of her prenatal reflexes. She was born at 28 weeks. We did one pose with her for 3 reps of 10 seconds 3x/day, and in one month we were seeing unbelievable results. I'm sure it isn't that extreme for everyone, but it's such a great therapy because there's no harm in giving it a shot.fostermamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09892654110641448023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804257678562112660.post-43579946090866746072007-03-07T10:31:00.000-06:002007-03-07T10:31:00.000-06:00I have heard great things about the amby before. I hope it helps!Fostermamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17484574574785705446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804257678562112660.post-14489587902963529782007-03-07T09:49:00.000-06:002007-03-07T09:49:00.000-06:00That's so great to hear about CJ's mom wanting to ...That's so great to hear about CJ's mom wanting to get herself together for her baby. It probably helps her a lot to know he's so well taken care of.
Our first FS was colicky and would only sleep in the swing. 8 hours of back-and-forth would have driven me crazy, but he loved it.

Have you seen the Amby hammock? (ambybaby.com) CJ might love it. And if you call them directly, you can ask them if they have any returned hammocks. They sell them for a reduced price and they're new quality. That's how we got ours. Niblet LOVED it, and she was a swaddle girl, too. She slept in it, swaddled, until she was 11 months old.FosterMommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05241142922558590017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804257678562112660.post-31396220694123050522007-03-07T00:51:00.000-06:002007-03-07T00:51:00.000-06:00This is really a nice post...thanks for sharing......This is really a nice post...thanks for sharing...and i'm sure things will get better as the days go by...and well since Easter is also approaching slowly also check out my blog on Easter Wishes sometime and enjoy all that i've posted there!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3804257678562112660.post-61608312573111328032007-03-06T22:34:00.000-06:002007-03-06T22:34:00.000-06:00I liked this post a lot.I liked this post a lot.Gawdessnesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00890880211424269234noreply@blogger.com
